WHy Black EAgle?
We’re just like you. No really.
Over the course of more than 20 years of combined experience in going to gun trainings, we (Rob and Ryan) have experienced all spectrums of instructors out there, from the good to the bad. One constant was the feeling of apprehension going into each training, the “Am I going to get judged by this random old man conducting this training?” feeling, even when we attended with some pretty high level units we were a part of. We can’t even imagine how intimidating it is for an average civilian to consider taking a gun course.
We’re going to change that.
We want to create a non-intimidating approach to training for everyone, but especially new or inexperienced gun owners. We don’t care how badass someone is with their shooting ability, we care about how proficient someone is in their ability to defend their families and themselves.
While all of our instructors at Black Eagle are highly qualified with real world experience in what we are teaching, we are also normal people: Husbands, fathers, brothers. We aim to treat every person who signs up for our courses the same, as those looking to improve their ability to be a better defender. That’s it, no more, no less.

We call our company an “academy” for a reason. Like martial arts, gun training should never be a one and done training. We want to become your go-to for defense training. When you take a course from us, that is the beginning of your journey with us. We are constantly developing trainings for both in person, and online training programs exclusively for those who join our tribe. You will join a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to better family and self defense.
