Ryan
Ryan is a US NAVY veteran, former head coach at a boxing gym, and experienced gun instructor both in and outside the military.
Ryan has trained in high level weapons and tactics training with various units, and has traveled to South America on both the military and civilian side to conduct training and security operations, and as a security contractor. In addition, Ryan has conducted and overseen tactics and weapons training for various units and groups over the span of six years.
Ryan is also a seasoned boxer, having been a head coach for a Salt Lake City based gym, and corner coached multiple boxers in sanctioned events.
Above it all, Ryan is a dedicated husband and family man. Prioritizing his family above all else. This dedication pushed Ryan to leave law school behind to pursue his goal of training as many fellow family men and women in the abilities to defend their most precious asset.
Rob
Rob is a veteran of the US NAVY, Utah National Guard, and Law Enforcement, cultivating an enormous skillset and real world experience in shooting, self defense, discipline, and much more.
During his twelve years in the Navy and National Guard, Rob trained and operated as a VBSS operator in addition to his job as an Operations Specialist and Intelligence Analyst. After joining the National Guard, Rob gained additional experience in combat medicine.
Rob spent 11 years in law enforcement, serving as a Patrol Officer, Detective, SWAT officer, Firearms instructor, and Defensive Tactics instructor. Donning his many hats has brought Rob extensive real world experience in everything taught at Black Eagle Defense Academy.
In addition to all of the above, Rob has decades of experience in a high level of martial arts, including Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Kick Boxing.
Like Ryan, Rob is a devoted family man. He is a husband, and father, and has devoted his life to his preparation to defend them in any situation.
